One Acrylic on canvas specially painted for Dreams Exhibition by Graphic Designer STM Choi to raise money for Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) which supports blind and partially blind people. 100% of the profit will be donated to this charity.

Painting has been titled Mellow Blue [Night in Day edition] inspired by the deep yet temperate azures against a golden roll of soft creams used to create a gentle skyscape as part of the Nostalgia installation for the Dreams Exhibition in London. The distorted forms have been composed from the mind and memory of the skies during the delicate mornings of spring. Looking closely, the clouds are clouds because of the colours are the hues we remember the sky to be. Without the colour, the sky is simply a high space above our heads…

This particular piece has been painted during the night time in accordance to the theme of the memory of the sky during the day. There is also a sister painting as a part of this series for Mellow Blue titled “Day in Day” which is not to be sold.
I wish to raise money for those who are less fortunate and can not see nor experience such brilliant colours in their life time.
Dimensions:
Height: 76 inches
Length: 61inches
Width: 1inch
Medium : Acrylic

Have u ever thought that art and design education is creating boundaries instead of breaking them? Have u ever felt the need to learn from another discipline, but your course didn’t give u any facility to do so?
REBOOT WORKSHOP intends to re-think how we learn art and design courses in the UK. And to ask if we can learn holistically by sharing knowledge with students from other disciplines.
This is about BREAKING BOUNDARIES and …creating a NEW KIND OF ENVIRONMENT. All people are welcome, not only students.
To book RSVP, send a mail to alvaro.benalcazar@gmail.com or come along to Dreams Exhibition on Friday.
Friday 15:00 – 18:00
Shoreditch Town Hall

For Sheila’s exhibit she has been busy making these:

Ice cream sundae...

...small van, big ice cream or small ice cream... small van, big hamster.. wait what?!

Pavlova on a plate, in a jar

Pavlova, from outside the jar
Together, Sheila and May are producing little objects just as small as these ones! I wonder what May has been up to…
